Automobile Accident
In you are in an accident with a vehicle an are not too badly hurt, try to remember the following:
- Get the name and driver’s license number of the other driver.
- Take pictures of everything you can at the scene.
- If there are witnesses, get names and numbers. Have them text you.
- Talk with the police officer and be nice. (Assholes get nowhere.)
- When talking with anyone at the scene, don’t every say anything that might weaken your claim. Don’t be conciliatory.
If you are hurt badly, and are able, ask a witness if they would possibly take pictures and get information. Otherwise, the police report will have the necessary information.
Dog vs Bike
If you have an accident involving a dog, it is crucial to ascertain who owns the dog and to do the following:
- Take pictures of the dog(s)
- Take pictures of the property where you think the dog lives.
- Knock on the door and ask if they own the dog or if they know whose dog it is.
- Take pictures of the area and roadway.
Fall Mirage Camp
